I started
Addicted for a couple of reasons:
Firstly,
for as long as I can remember I have had an obsession with all things beauty
related.
As a
child I used to sit with my Grandmother and marvel at the potions and creams on
her dressing table, and would spend all holidays applying lotions and makeup to
my face and body. I must have looked a sight (ok, the photos prove I really did!),
but these were always my fondest memories.
The
products are a little more advanced these days, but my beauty addiction hasn’t
wavered. This
website is dedicated to all the girls (and guys!) who share my passion.
Secondly,
I wanted to see something on the web that wasn’t there.
There are
lots of websites around that bring the world to Australia, but what about bringing
the great products we have to offer to the rest of the world?
And so
Addicted was born. Not only did I want to see Asia-Pacific brands around the
world, there had to be something more.
The
brands you will find on these pages have been specifically chosen because they
are a little bit different. They are socially aware, don’t test on animals, use
innovative ingredients and are above all great products!
Addicted is YOUR site; make
suggestions and we will do our best to incorporate them. You can help
with the way the site evolves by requesting those cosmetic treasures
that you are addicted to and need but only seem to exist in fashion
magazines. If you
can think of products and brands you would like to see stocked here, and they
fit with our philosophy, please let me know.
